Digital signage: Telelogos announces Version 3 of its Media4Display
software
Beaucouzé, July 17, 2012 – Telelogos announces the
release of Version 3 of its digital signage software Media4Display. A new interface, new administrative services,
business intelligence integration, and innovative remote control are all bundled into this new version.
Media4Display, the digital signage software made by the French software development company,
Telelogos, now offers new features to enhance performance and improve usability.
Digital signage centralizes content management and creation, along with the scheduling and targeting
of messages. It can also broadcast campaigns on a network of remote screens (with each screen being controlled
by a PC player).

A thoughtfully redesigned interface:
- The interface has been
redesigned for improved usability and to meet the expectations of Communications agencies and
departments.
- The new “drag and drop” feature makes it much easier to manage content and quickly insert media into a slide or
multimedia sequence.
- The new “copy-paste” feature allows you to duplicate a slide or sequence to save time while designing
campaigns.
- Layout tools have been enhanced
to improve the slide design process.
(multimedia assembly)
- “Full screen mode” allows you to clearly see how slides are rendered.
-
- A dashboard allows you
to view and track the activity of all remote players and screens (over 24 hours, one week or one
month)
Innovations and new features:
- Using the API (Application
Programming Interface) you can incorporate multi-criteria decision-making (recommendations) into the
selection of media to be displayed. It is further enhanced by the inclusion of a rule set and rules editor.
These features allow you to link your digital signage to a decision-making system to display customized
content (for example, with a dual-screen display at the register of a point of sale, specific products
could be promoted based on the profile information associated with the customer’s loyalty card,
etc.)
- Controlling and selecting
content to be displayed can also be delegated to local contributors (up to 10 hierarchical levels:
national, regional, departmental, local, etc.)
- The software architecture can
adapt to the security and upgradability policies of IS departments in both SMEs and large corporations (you
can install a farm of servers to improve load balancing when distributing campaigns to remote screens
and/or ensure high server availability)
- It has an innovative control
tool: use “remote control” features to control screens with a smartphone, tablet or PC.
Connected to the local network of players/screens (WIFI, LAN, etc.) this remote control allows you
to:
- place screens on standby or
wake them up
- control the selection of media
displays (ex: an alarm)
- trigger an action (programs and
simple sequences)
- launch a reinitialization or
screen synchronization
Using the remote control, a department manager can, for example, customize the promotional messages
broadcast on the screens located within that department, etc.
All of these new features will be presented at the EQUIPMAG trade show September 11-13, 2012 at the
Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition centre. Telelogos will preview the new interface and new features in
booth G41.
